Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct ten (10) pits and four (04) reservoirs at sites located in Garfield County, Montana, (maps to be included in the solicitation). Work Data sheets will also be provided listing quantities and dimensions. Schedule will include (1) Mobilization; (2) Common Excavation; and (3) Embankment work. The contractor will have 74 days to complete this project after Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Contractors receiving government contracts must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. It is also required that prospective contractors complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. A tentative site visit is scheduled for on or about June 6, 2007. Specific time and place will be announced in Section L of the specification clauses. The solicitation for this project will be posted at http:/ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 17, 2007. Response date for quotes will be on or about June 18, 2007. NO hard copies will be sent out by this office. If you encounter problems retrieving solicitation information, you may e-mail tcarrill@blm.gov to obtain assistance. Please include a telephone number where you can be reached in your e-mail. This procurement is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. However, all small business concerns are encouraged to respond. If a fair and reasonable quote is NOT received by a responsible and responsive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern, all quotes received from small business concerns will be considered without further notice. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
