Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement cons titutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W15P7T-07-Q-B230 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with th e applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be access in full text at the following web addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/index.htm. The proposed action is for 75 Forward Entry Device (AN/PSG-7) Cable Assembly Spec units, commercial Part Number 487725-6, NSN of this item is 5995-01-342-6291. The proposed action will also include an option for up to an additional 75 units. The delivery schedule requires 75 units to be delivered 180 days after contract award. Additionally, early delivery will be accepted and is encouraged, if at no additional cost to the Government. Freight on Board (FOB) is Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, W25G 1U. Warranty shall be provided with quote standard commercial warranty information. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at source. The US Army C-E LCMC has established the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from C-E LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with the C-E LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil Responses to this RFQ must be signed, dated, and received via IBOP by June 4, 2007 no later than 1600. Responses should be marked with the solicitation number. All contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to aw ard will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or register only at http://www.CCR.gov Basis for Award: The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest, responsive quotation, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
