- Description
- The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) has a requirement for maintenance for two pipe organs located at the Cadet Chapel. Maintenance includes inspection and monthly preventative maintenance including but not limited to testing, regulating, tuning, lubricating and cleaning of the pipe organs. The pipe organs were installed in the Cadet Chapel in 1963 and were custom manufactured. The pipes are constructed of wood, various alloys of tin and lead and the ranks of highly polished copper. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INTEREST ONLY (SOURCES SOUGHT) AND IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This Sources Sought is issued for the purpose of determining if there are small businesses that are interested and capable of meeting this requirement. Interested firms are asked to respond with a brief summary of your capability to perform these services and include your small business type status/classification along with your CAGE Code. The Government intends to use NAICS code 811490 with a $6.5M Average Small Business Size Standard. Email your information to patricia.conken@usafa.af.mil by 1:00PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Friday, 11 May 2007. Phone calls are not accepted.
