Description
The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition to provide personnel, equipment, and all necessary materials to provide Dormitory Cleaning for Occupied and Unoccupied Rooms in buildings 527-529, 1670 and 280, lounge and laundry room cleaning and some outside refuse collection on Sheppard Air Force in Wichita Falls, Texas. This acquisition is for cleaning the facilities used by the 80 FTW, and the Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training students. Service will consist of cleaning twice per week for all Allied pilots in training occupied rooms. Contractor will also be required to clean lounge and laundry rooms completely once per week. Unoccupied rooms will be cleaned when directed. The policing the outside areas will be picking up refuse in common areas within the grounds of each building. Contract will also be required to clean (sweep/shampoo) carpets, tile floors, and check smoke detectors. All work will be accomplished in accordance with Performance Work Statement which will be submitted with the solicitation. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, this acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561720; the small business size standard is $15 million. The projected basic performance period is 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 plus four one-year options. In lieu of a twelve-month option, the Government reserves its right to unilaterally exercise any/all remaining option periods for six-month option periods, as a result of subsequent OMB A-76 actions. However, options are not guaranteed or required to be exercised. The solicitation will be released approximately 30 May 2007. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to obtain the solicitation and its amendments and downloading them for their files. Paper copies WILL NOT be provided. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Electronic Posting System at http://eps.gov/.
