Description
This Solicitation (HHSP2332007ANA Region IV) is being presented by the Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center, Strategic Acquisition Service, Division of Acquisition Management (DHHS/PSC/SAS/DAM), for the Administration for Children and Families, Administration for Native Americans (ACF/ANA). This requirement is being Solicited under Full and Open competition. The purpose of this Solicitation is to provide training and technical assistance (T/TA) regarding the planning, strategies, and methodologies for grant project design and application for Federal assistance from Native American firms in the Pacific Basin (Region IV). T/TA is provided to current and prospective grantees of the (ANA) in order to strengthen their efforts toward self sufficiency through quality grant applications and proposals for new assistance, and major modifications of current project plans. Generally, the Contractor shall provide feedback on proposals, critique and question the potential applicant, suggest improvements to plans, explain strategies for seeking funding, and make suggestions and recommendations. The Native American culture in Hawaii is unique. All firms proposing must demonstrate their, knowledge, understanding, ability, and expertise in dealing with Native America cultures in Hawaii. The Solicitation Document will be uploaded and available on FEDBIZOPPS for download approximately, but no sooner than 15 days after posting of this notice. The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) will hold a Pre-Proposal Conference to discuss the Region IV ? Pacific Basin, Training and Technical Assistance Solicitation (HHSP2332007ANA Region IV). The meeting will be both telecast nationally and held in person. Bidders interested in the telecast should contact Clayton Nakamoto by phone at (808) 594-0231 or by email at claytonn@oha.org for viewing directions. The Conference will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 12:00Noon, at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Board Room on the 5th Floor, Pacific Park Plaza Building, 711 Kapiolani Blvd., Suite 500, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to attend. All attendees are requested to sign in upon arrival. The purpose of this Conference is to provide information and answer questions concerning the Government?s requirement, which may be helpful in the preparation of proposals. There is no security clearance necessary and the 5th floor receptionist will assist with visitors for this meeting. Parking is available in the public garage across the street from the building entrance on Curtis Street. Those persons who wish to attend the Conference in person should arrive by 11:45am as seating is limited, and we will begin promptly at 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2007.
