Description
This is a Research and Development (R&D) Sources Sought synopsis. In accordance with FAR Part 5.205, Special Situations, FAR Part 10, Market Research, and FAR Part 35, Research and Development, this Sources Sought synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Air Force to determine qualified sources capable of providing all the functional requirements of the Information Assurance Technology Analysis Center (IATAC) to include the facilitation of use of information assurance (IA) technology information, the collection and analysis of IA technology, the transfer of IA information, and the promotion of IA standardization. The Government intends to award a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract with a potential performance period of 10 years (i.e. 3-year base period, plus a 4-year option period, plus an additional 3-year option period). If the requirement (as detailed below) can be provided by your firm, submit only one package in response to this Sources Sought. The purpose of this Sources Sought on the IATAC requirement is to identify interested, potential and/or capable offerors, particularly small businesses, that can provide some or all of the technical requirements as per the draft statement of work (SOW) posted at www.FedBizOpps.gov. Additionally, responses will be used to determine subcontracting capabilities for the determination of potential Small Business subcontracting goals if the solicitation is issued for full and open competition. Capabilities packages are due 22 May 2007. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. SEE UPLOADED DOCUMENT FOR FULL DETAILS ON SOURCES SOUGHT.
