- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 is requesting bids on solicitation number 201817B004 to furnish all materials and effort to construct two concrete masonry buildings (1,545 sf for Dorm building and 384 sf for Hunter check station), including site preparation, gravel parking, concrete foundation, metal roofs, interior gypsum board walls and partitions, plumbing fixtures, mechanical, electrical, and connection to existing utilities. Project includes base bid items and additive bid items. The project is located at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Anahuac, Texas, southwest of the junction F.M. 1985 and Highway 124, in Chambers County, Texas. The estimated price magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance is expected to be 135 calendar days. Bid evaluation and award will be on firm fixed price, low bid, responsive and responsible contractor. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220. The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. Both small and large businesses are invited to submit bids. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about May 7, 2007.
