Description
2500 FEET OF 3/4 inch hose, FEP without end fittings Specifications: Home hose P/N BH 075; Flexible Component hose P/N TLCT 3/4 OR EQUAL* Teflon smooth lining wire reinforced spring steel helix built-in Reinforced with multiple plies of synthetic fabric Suction service to 28 inch mercury 3/4 inch ID x 1 3/16 inch min. OD Working pressure 100 PSI minimum Bend radius 8 inches Temp rating 225 deg F continuous with 250 deg F intermittent Each section shall be 50 ft in length without end fittings Hose shall meet the following test criteria: A) Detrimental materials test: Samples of the hose product shall be tested by filling a twelve inch minimum section (for each lot of hose) with pure water meeting the distilled water for hose test requirements listed below. Hose shall be sealed in a manner that will not contaminate the water. Store the hose for six days at 120 plus or minus 10 deg F. At the end of the six days, analyze the water in the hose for total leachable organic carbon, halides and halogentated organics. The water from the test shall meet the following criteria: Leachable Organic Carbon (max): 16.0 ppm Leachable Halides (max): 1.6 ppm Leachable Halogenated Organics (max): 0.8 ppm Distilled water quality parameters and limits for hose test Conductivity (max) 2.5 umhos/cm pH 6.0-8.0 chloride (max) 0.1 ppm visual clarity no turbidity, oil or sediment silica (max) 0.2 ppm B) Crimp test - test hose reinforcement for its ability to resist crimping at the minimum bend radius. C) Contractor shall prepare and submit a Certificate of Compliance (COC), accompanied by a Test Data sheet verifying satisfactory test results, for each lot of hose supplied. This information MUST accompany shipment of hoses. The Government will review the data to ensure compliance prior to acceptance of the hose. In the event that the COC/test data is not received or is found to be non-compliant, the hose(s) will be rejected. Lot number(s) shall be stenciled or embossed on each length of hose. ALL OFFERS OF EQUAL MATERIAL MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY SPECIFICATION DATA SUFFICIENT TO ENSURE A COMPLETE TECHNICAL EVALUATION. FAILURE TO SUPPLY THIS INFORMATION MAY RESULT IN AN OFFEROR BEING CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE.
