Description

ISSUE DATE: 04/30/2007. PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE NCRA IS NOT REQUIRED. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to replace the roof on a 7-story masonry building, with a rectangular footprint of approximately 187 ft 4 in. by 131 ft 4 in., at USCG ISC Boston, MA (Suffolk County). A new roof system is required for all areas of the roof at Bldg. 8, including all penthouses, parapet areas, and the main roof. The new roof system shall include insulation and all components required for a complete installation, and a 110 mile per hour wind speed warranty from the roof system manufacturer. Work also includes removing six abandoned mechanical equipment mounts, including associated adjacent pipe penetrations, and related incidental work. The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 4/30/2007. The tentative date set for receipt of proposals is 5/30/2007 by 4:00 pm. The applicable NAICS code is 238160 and the size standard is $13.0 million. Estimated performance time is 105 days after issuance of NTP. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 15 (best value) and is open to both large and small businesses.
