Description: The Southern Region Contracting Center-West (SRCC-W) intends to award laundry services on an unrestricted basis for the activities located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The services to be provided are commercial within the meaning of FAR Clause 52.212 -1. The Contractor shall provide the facility, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles for transport of laundry to and from Contractors Facility and transportation necessary to perform full laundry service at the Contractors facility as defin ed in this Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS). Furthermore, Contractor shall manage and operate the Laundry Pickup and Delivery Services Point located at Building 2640, (Back Loading Dock), 2310 Harney Road, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Request for Quotation will be issued on or around 02 May 2007. Anticipated start date will be 01 July 2007. Site visit anticipated to be held on 08 May 2007. Closing date on or around 24 May 2007. Period of performance shall be for a four years and three months. T he associated NAICS code is 812320.
