- The Social Security Administration intends to NEGOTIATE SOLELY with Mortice Kern Systems (MKS) Inc., 410 Albert Street, Waterloo, ON Canada N2L3V3, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 ?only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements? to PURCHASE MAINTENANCE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF GOVERNMENT OWNED MKS SCM SOFTWARE ? MKS Source Integrity Enterprise Licenses (350 ea) and MKS Integrity Server 40-Bit SSL 95 ea). The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price purchase order. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is not available; therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
