Description

DESCRIPTION: The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, California intends to award a firm fixed price unrestrictive contract. The NAICS Codes is 485210 and the small business size is 6.0 mil. The Contract period shall be for one year period. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcares system has a requirement for shuttle bus transportation services from Santa Barbara to West Los Angeles (later Santa Maria to West Los Angeles) and Bakersfield to West Los Angeles. The buses shall be equipped with a wheelchair lift and at least 35 seats and space for at least 4 electric wheelchairs or scooters with tie downs and a restroom. . The bus shall be required to carry specimens, small boxes, meds, SPD (medical instruments), files and mail. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Solicitation will be available O/A 4/30/07 with proposals due O/A 5/30/07.
