- Description
- NAICS Code: 541710 The US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Clean Air Markets Division (CAMD) intends to award a sole-source, time and materials, purchase order not to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, for the development of mercury gas standards to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). NIST has the responsibility for providing standard reference materials and procedures for EPA and other Federal, State, and Local agencies, and industry to trace measured gas concentrations used in environmental monitoring. The Clean Air Mercury Rule requires calibration error/linearity/converter checks and relative accuracy tests which require NIST-traceable Mercury calibration gas standards. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed to Andrea L. Brunsman at brunsman.andrea@epa.gov . Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing by Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Please include your name, point of contact, address, telephone number with area code, and facsimile number. Telephone inquiries or requests will not be accepted.
