Description

Project Title & Location: Suisun Bay Channel & New York Slough Channel Maintenance Dredging, Contra Costa County, California. Bid Alternative A: The work consists of maintenance dredging of 220,000 cubic yards from the Suisun Bay Channel and 86,00 0 cubic yards from the New York Slough to provide a project authorized depth of -35 feet (MLLW). Dredged material shall be transported and placed primarily at the Hamilton Wetland Restoration Project through the use of the Hamilton Off-Loader (HOL). Addi tional material shall be placed at the SF-16 aquatic disposal site. All dredging, dredged material transportation and dredged material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable cont ract clauses. Dredged material over and above the SF-16 an nual regulatory limit of 200,000 cubic yards shall be placed at the SF-9 aquatic disposal site. All dredging, dredged material transportation and dredged material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $18.5 Million. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000. 00 and $10,000,000.00. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation will be available for download approximately April 30, 2007.
