- Amendment 2 of CQ7084 is to extend the proposal receipt date until April 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted no later than Friday, April 13, 2007 at 4:00 PM. Attached are responses to questions submitted as of April 12, 2007 to this solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT: This is a fixed price requirement type contract with a two (2) year base performance period and three (3) one year options terms to provide background investigative services. Eligible firms must able to receive and transmit background check information to WMATA?s Hiring, Employment Application, and Requisition Tracking System (HEARTS) which is PeopleSoft?s eRecruit module (ver. 8.9). The scope of services shall include pre-employment background checks as well as background checks for existing employees on an as-needed basis involving a verification of job application information, obtaining performance-related information from at least two previous supervisors/employers and obtaining County, State and/or National criminal conviction records. Permission shall be obtained from job applicants by WMATA prior to the background checks being initiated. NOTE: Offeror?s Must include Pre-Award Data with Volume 1, Cost Proposal as specified herewith.
