Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 5, is planning a solicitation for the Rehabilitation of an existing Security Building located at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, Philadelphia County, Philadelphia, PA. This solicitation will use a Request for Quotation method as outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Parts 13 and 15. The ultimate contract award will be based on the best overall value to the goverment with the past performance of interested qualified firms being a major deciding factor. The project consists of renovations to the existing structure which includes the construction of an accessible rest room. The work under this proposed contract also includes electrical and HVAC upgrades and installation of asphalt on the existing roof. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS is 238390. This procurement is set-aside for small business. All responsive, responsible, offerors with a strong positive past performance history, are invited to participate in the quotation process and will be considered for contract award.
