Description

The Government intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source to Ericsson Inc The effort is being awarded under the Foreign Comparitive Testing program for L ightweight Deployable Universal Communication System. The items being procured are two (2) downsized 3G WCDMA QuicLINK UMTS wireless communications systems and an additional twelve (12) month option period for an upgrade to the two (2) downsized WCDMA sys tems to man portable versions and if applicable to current release, upgrade the existing DCNet trial systems 3GPP release, deliver up to ten (10) additional downsized systems to the government and provide maintenance and support services. Place of perfor mance shall be at Ericsson Inc. The period of performance shall be twenty four months, including all options. Solicitation and all attachments to this request for proposal will be posted to Army Single Face to Industry Page (ASFI) at https://abop.monmouth .army.mil on or about fifteen (15) days after this notice is posted. All parties interested in doing business with CE-LCMC are invited to access, operate and send and receive information from the ASFI. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
