- The U.S. Army Sustainment Command intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W52P1J-06-R-0177, to the Army Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) at https:/acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about April 27, 2007 with a closing date of 30 days after issuance. This RFP is for the following item: M79, Igniter, Electric Match, NSN: 1375-01-353-1038, P/N: 12953251. The RFP shall solicit proposals for a firm, fixed-priced contract. To accommodate POSSIBLE out-year development, this will be a five-ye ar Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with ranges from 1,000 ea. to 18,200 ea. First Article Testing will be required. The M79, Igniter, Electric Match consists of a 3 inch long polypropylene tube and cap assembly containing presse d igniter and starter composition. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DoD contract. The In ternet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/.
