- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Air Facility Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina. Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and transportation to remove an existing above ground deteriorating fuel oil storage tank and furnish and install a new 4000 gallon vaulted concrete fuel oil storage tank along with a manual fuel supply pump and an electrically powered fuel supply pump; furnish and install new fuel supply and return piping from the new vaulted concrete fuel oil storage tank to the existing fuel oil consuming appliances; furnish and install new normal and new emergency electric power to serve the new fuel supply pump; furnish and install all necessary additional components and appurtenances for a complete and functional fueling system including concrete, fuel supply, testing and grounding system. The estimated price range of the complete project is between $100,000 - $250,000. Performance time is 150 calendar days. This project is being considered for 100 percent HUBZone set-aside. Interested HUBZone businesses should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible and should be received no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact and telephone numbers, and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. Information should be faxed to 305/278-6696. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside.
