Description
With the implementation of the Drug-Free Workplace Program in accordance with Executive Order 12564 and the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991, the Office of Civilian Human Resources under the Department of the Navy must have a Medical Review Officer (MRO). This acquisition shall procure for MRO Services. The MRO shall be responsible for reviewing all urinalysis test results received from the laboratory to ensure the results are scientifically valid as determined by the SOW. Historically, the monthly average tests conducted by the MRO are 3,000-4,000 tests. The proposed procurement is being processed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Period of Performance is from 16 June 2007 through 30 September 2011, if all options are exercised. A fixed price contract will be issued, and conducted in accordance with FAR 12 and 13. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon it release to www.neco.navy.mil. The applicable NADICS code is 621511.
