Description
Overhaul of Valve Assembly, Anti. Input/Output NSN and Part Number: 2995-01-294-9867/4046T28G14, Minimum Quantity: 300 each/Maximum Quantity: 2,200 each; and Input/Output NSN and Part Number: 2995-01-313-0691/4046T28G15, Minimum Quantity: 100 ea ch/Maximum Quantity: 500 each. A Five-Year Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Firm-Fixed-Price Contract is contemplated. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to perform maintenance and overhaul of the Valve Assemblies, Anti, applicable to the UH-60 T-700 engine. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin to Texarkana, TX, beginning 120 days after contract award. Technical data is available to support this acquisition on a competitive basis; however, offerors must meet source approval requirements in order to be eligible for contract award b ecause the Valve Assembly, Anti is classified as a Critical Safety Item. The approved sources for this procurement are AAR Corp., Garden City, NY (3Y015); VACCO Industries (1PVC5), South El Monte, CA; and General Electric Co. (99207), Lynn, MA. All resp onsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Source approval requests should be submitted in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Source approval requests may be submitted to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Award will not be withheld pending approva l of a new source(s). This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted to a later date; however, delivery order award will not be made prior to the closing date stated above. See Note 23.
