- Sources are sought for design services to furnish complete construction documents (Plans & Specifications) and construction period services for Project 573-07-700, "Water Storage Capability Improvement," at the VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. This project is for the complete design for a water storage tank, connected to the existing 500gpm well capable of fulfilling the current needs of the medical center as well as the anticipated needs of the bed tower addition. The A/E firm selected should have the capability of producing construction drawings on a computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) system and furnish the VA with a CD containing such drawings at construction completion. Selection will be based upon recent specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to the project, past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry, in terms of cost control, quality of work, compliance with performance schedules, and other appropriate evaluation criteria. Construction budget is $1,000,000-$2,000,000. Consideration is limited to concerns located within a 300 mile radius of Gainesville, FL Firms desiring consideration should submit a completed copy of form SF-330 by 4:00PM April 6, 2007.
