Description

On behalf of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations and Environment, Residential Communities Initiative (RCI), and in accordance with FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, intends to award a sole source contra ct to the Military Housing and Lodging Institute (MHLI) to maintain its previously developed comprehensive training program for the RCI Program. MHLI, in cooperation with the RCI Program, previously created a basic course of instruction, Fundamentals of R CI, and subsequently created specific courses in RCI Procurement, Real Estate and Environmental Requirements, RCI Team Building/Negotiation Skills, and RCI Executive Overview. During FY07, under this contract MHLI will further refine these course s, present additional offerings, refine more advanced training, and provide logistical support for Portfolio and Asset Management (PAM) training. The period of performance is for 12 months. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be an indefinit e-delivery, indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed price contract. There is NO solicitation document. This notice is not a request for proposals. Capability statements must be received by this office within 7 days from the publication of this notice. A d etermination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award is anticipated on or about 2 Apr 2007. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 5.101.
