- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Para-Flite Incorporated, 5800 Magnolia Av e. Pennsauken, N.J. 08109. This action is solicited as unrestricted. The Parachutist High Altitude Oxygen System (PHAOS) is required to provide oxygen to the parachutist for high altitude High Altitude-High Opening (HAHO) and High Altitude-Low Opening (H ALO) operations, during the exit from the aircraft and descent under canopy. Para-Flite Incorporated is the original equipment manufacturer. This equipment has been approved for the military and is needed in order for the Developmental Test Agency for th e Department of Defense, to provide testing to DOD customers who already use this equipment.
