- Defense Logistics Agency, Logistics Operations, Defense Supply Center Philadelphia Medical, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5096 Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is amending the Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Service contract. The resulting indefinite quantity contract will be in effect for one year with an option to extend the term of the contract to a maximum of four additional one-year option periods. The Government intends to make award based on a Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The Government intention is to make multiple awards in conjunction with the requirements of subject solicitation and in accordance with FAR 16.504?(1) The resulting solicitation will represent a Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs joint contracting initiative for a Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Contract. The purpose of this initiative is to establish a national contract with a reverse distributor capable of assisting DoD and DVA facilities throughout the world to maximize credit returns while remaining in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to pharmaceutical and hazardous waste handling.
