- Description
- The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM) has a requirement to procure the required supplies and technical expertise for the expedited upgrade, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, delivery and training of the 3 2nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC). AMCOM proposes to acquire the necessary supplies and services to field a complete Air and Missile Defense Planning and Control System (AMDPCS) solution for the 32nd AAMDC from Northrop Grumman Mission Syst ems. The Period of Performance (POP) of this effort will be for twelve (12) months. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satis fy Agency Requirements , this procurement is sole source to Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Tactical Systems, 213 Wynn Drive ALH11/2164, Huntsville, AL 35805. The expertise for the rapid fabrication, upgrade and delivery of the 32nd AAMDC configurati on exists only within NGMS. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be given due consideration by the agency. See Numbered Note 22.
