Description

HYDRAULIC, ELECTIC, PNEUMATIC, PETROLEUM OPERATED EQUIPMENT (HEPPOE) This Tool Kit is used by the Engineer Soldier in combat and construction engineer units in conducting repairs of buildings, POW holing areas, and water piping system, and constructi on of airfields and repair of them, and maintenance of buildings and roads and other items. No formal solicitation will be issued. This synopsis is published for SUBCONTRACTING PURPOSES ONLY. The Army is soliciting proposals from contract awardees under th e Sets, Kits, and Outfits Solicitation DAAE20-02-R0193 Segment 2, Construction Engineer Tool Kits. The estimated issue date is 10 MAY 2007. The contract awardees are as follows: 1. W.W. Grainger Inc., 10 Grainger Parkway, Lake Forest, IL 60045; 2. Kipper T ool Co., 2375 Murphy Blvd., Front Dock Door, Gainesville, GA 30504; 3. Midland Supply Inc., 98 County Street, Attleboro, MA 02703; 4. Dynamic Sports, LLC, 12220 Parkway Centre Drive, Poway, CA 92064; and 5. Power Manufacturing Inc., P.O. Box 703, Atoka, TN 38004. It is anticipated that this action will result in a 5 year IDIQ Contract for a minimum of 100 sets and a maximum of 1200 sets. This tool kit enhances mission accomplishment by combing commercially available Hydraulic, Electric, Pneumatic, and Petro leum Operated tools into one distinct kit.
