- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This is not a request for proposal, and there is no solicitation package available at this time. Travis AFB, CA, is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses to provide the following items: Hospital Laundry Services - with capability to pick up soiled linen at the David Grant Medical Center six (6) days per week and deliver clean laundry six (6) days per week, Monday through Saturday with a 24 hour turnaround for the next delivery day and capability in the case of emergency provide all clean linen ready for shipment within three (3) work hours of each request. Please view the attached workload estimate. The contractor shall perform laundry services in accordance with the terms of any resultant contract and in accordance with the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) Infection Control procedures; Guidelines for Health Care Linen Service (current edition) by Joint Commission on Health Care Laundry Guidelines, published by Textile Rental Service Association of America; California Administrative Code, Title 22, Social Security, Division 3, Licensing & Certification of Health Facilities & Referral Agencies, and any commercial laundry standards. All linen from David Grant Medical Center shall be processed and washed separately from all other facilities linen. A contract is expected to be awarded for the Basic period and four (4) one year option periods. Potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. The information provided will be used for planning purposes only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812332, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7211, and the size standard is $13 M. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a statement of current capability and past performance information. Sources must demonstrate technical experience on similar acquisitions, specifically addressing the requirements specified in this synopsis, and demonstrate the ability to obtain the resources necessary to successfully compete for this requirement. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide the following information: (1) company name, 2 points of contact, e-mail address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and type and business size including annual revenue for NAICS Code 812332 and annual revenue for entire business and total number of employees; (2) ownership; (3) year firm established; (4) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include names, points of contact, phone numbers, value and type of contract, period of performance, and brief description; (5) information telling us about your company and why you think you can perform this contract; (6) information describing works, tasks, and percentages proposed to be performed by you and subcontractors for this requirement. Please include pertinent information for on-going contracts or contracts completed within the last five years under NAICS Code 812332. Pertinent information is (a) Name of contracting activity; (b) Contract type (FFP, cost, IDIQ or combination); (c) Period of performance and total contract value; (d) Summary of contract work; (e) Contracting officer name and current telephone number; (h) List of major subcontractors including name, address, and telephone number of primary point of contact. Interested sources should provide this information within 10 business days of publication of this notice. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only. All information submitted is at the offeror's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of capability statements in connection with this market survey. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission or information gathered as a result of this notice. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon the responses received. Any information provided is voluntary.
