- REVISED SYNOPSIS Solicitation Number FA8204-07-R-68051 is changed to delete the requirement for NSN 4440-01-505-6444AH, Cable Air-Drier and is hereby replaced as follows: Description: COTS Item. NSN 4440-01-110-9882AH Cable Air-Drier P/N P-3100STD. The CAD provides the dry air in a prescribed pressure to the Minuteman III missile Hardened Inter-site Cable System (HICS), acting as a monitoring system for cable cuts, leaking splice cases, and unauthorized penetration/tapping. The HICS provides command and control communications network for all missile squadrons and inter-squadron communication. The Cable Air Dryers currently at the Operational Wings are about 30 years old and do not comply with the weapon system specifications and are no longer sustainable. The CAD P/N P-3100STD, NSN 4440-01-110-9882Ah shall be upgraded to allow for remote monitoring with a Communication Module (CM) of the CAD functions; meeting higher electrometric standards; and system safety requirements. Total Line Item Qty: 125 EA. Option I: 190 EA Contractor shall provide two one-week operational and maintenance training periods on the Cable Air Drier and Communication Module. Data requirements include First Article Test Plan, First Article Test Report, Operational and Maintenance Manual, and Commercial Drawings and Associated Lists. Delivery: 1st Article: 240 days after award. Production: 25 per month, 6 months after approval of 1st Article. A technical proposal shall be required of all interested offerors.
