Description

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary for clearing and disposal of debris therefrom; excavation of levee material; stockpiling; later replacing and semi-compaction levee material, and disposal of material s therefrom; constructing a soil-bentonite slurry trench cut-off wall; fertilizing and seeding, and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. There are eleven (11) sheets in the set of dr awings. This project is advertised as an 8(a) Competitive requirement with no geographical restrictions. The SBAs assigned Requirement Number is 7700-07-702498. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 23799 0. To qualify as a small business concern, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 million. In addition to the above, all 8(a) contractors eligible to compete must have bonding capacity over $3,500,000. The solicitation will issue on/about 26 March 2007 and bid opening date will be on/about 26 April 2007.
