- WANTED TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT The United States Government is seeking to lease office space consisting of approximately 17,303 square feet of rentable space in Detroit, Michigan. The space requirement can be satisfied with space in an existing building or through new construction. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 13,679 to a maximum of 15,052 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet available for use by the Government for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The proposed lease is for 10 years firm and should be fully serviced. Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area: NORTH: 10 Mile Road SOUTH: 8 Mile Road EAST: Lahser Road WEST: Beech Daly Road (north of 8 Mile Road) The Government reserves the right to change the boundaries, reduce the square footage, or cancel any procurement. The following is required: Ninety (90) parking spaces. Forty-five (45) on-site parking spaces for employees and forty-five (45) on-site parking spaces for visitors (including handicapped) must be provided. Parking must be available during normal agency hours of operation (Monday ? Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Space must be contiguous, fully serviced, and altered to meet the Federal Government's standards for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Desired occupancy date is July 25, 2008.
