- Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 13.302 to Miller Marine, 1430 Hoover Avenue, National City, CA 91950 for the following item(s): (1) Jubilee Patches, Single, Size: 1 1/2", 6" and 8"; (2) Jubilee Patches, Double, Size: 1 1/2", 2", 4", 6" and 8"; (3) Box Patches, Size: 4" x 16" x 18 3/4", 6" x 20" x 22 3/4" and 8" x 24" x 26 3/4"; (4) Plate Patches, Size: 6" x 6" x 1/4", 12" x 12" x 1/4", 18" x 18" x 1/4" and 24" x 24" x 1/4"; (5) Round Plate Patches, Size: 6" Diameter, 12" Diameter, 18" Diameter, and 24" Diameter; (6) Hinged Round Plate Patches, Size: 10" Diameter, 14" Diameter and 18" Diameter; (7) "W" Bolts, Size: 10", 12", 16" and 18"; (8) "T" Bolts, Size: 8", 12", 16" and 20"; (9) "J" Bolts, Size: 6", 10", 14", 16" and 20"; (10) Folding T-Bolts, Size: 12", 16" and 20"; (11) Butterfly Nuts, Size: 1/2" and 5/8"; (12) 1/4-20 x 1" SS Bolts; (12) 3/8-16 x 1" SS Bolts; (13) 1/2-13 x 1" SS Bolts; (14) 1/2" 316 SS Flat Washer; (15) 1/4" 316 SS Flat Washer. All items are to be IAW with NAVSEA Drawing 804-5959240. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed acquisition is being processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures on an other than full and open competitive basis. The justification for such action is that the vendor has been authorized/approved by NAVSEA to manufacture these items. It is anticipated that award will take place on or before 23 March 2007. Note 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to the POC referenced below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determi nation by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. However, vendors may call or e-mail the buyer.
