- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) located in Madison, Wisconsin has a requirement for the installation of a new Thermoplastic single-ply, fully adhered roof membrane over new insulation on existing research building; installation of vertical panel on facia, soffit and chase walls; installation of roof walkways. Removal and disposal of approximately 30,000 sq ft of EPDM (rubber membrane), .045" thick roof membrane, rock ballast, and all associated flashing, and insulation. Removal and disposal of porcelain facia and soffit panels and associated architectural steel angle. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the construction work. The NAICS Code is 238160, "Roofing Contractors ". The magnitude of the requirement ranges between $500,000 and $800,000. The expected completion date of the project is eight weeks (8) from date of award. A site visit will be held on April 3, 2007 at 8:30am. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend.
