Description

THIS IS AN 8(A) SOLE SOURCE SET A-SIDE FOR SKILLET CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., GULF PORT, MS. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing fourteen (14) riser pipe grade control structures in Desoto Cou nty, Mississippi. Principal features of work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, embankment, control of water, engineering fabric, stone protection, miscellaneous items, corrugated metal pipe, reforestation, erosion control, lime treatmen t, welding, concrete work, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. All units of measure are metric. The value of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.2fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidder s should check often for changes (AMENDMENTS). Issue date on or about March 28, 2007. Request for Proposal Due on or about April 27, 2007.
