- Description
- The project consists of road decommissioning by recontouring and decompacting, as well as soil restoration on the Clearwater Ranger District. Work includes drainage improvements, subgrade scarification, road obliteration, seeding and hand straw mulching and miscellaneous related work. The project is located approximately 28 miles east of Grangeville via State Highway 13 and Lightning Creek Road #244. Following Lightning Creek Road to mile point 8.7, Orchard Creek is to the left. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Construction is expected to begin around May 15, 2007 and be completed by September 30, 2007. This is a presolicitation notice, the solicitation package will be available around the first part of April.
