Description

The US Postal Service Office of Inspector General is soliciting proposals for an Office Renovation. . PACKAGES CAN BE RECEIVED BY CONTACTING: ERIK SHARP @ RACHLIN ARCHITECTS INC., @ (310) 204-3400 at a cost of $50.00 per package. COMPLETION OF THIS PROJECT IS 120 CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE DATE OF NOTICE TO PROCEED. THE CONSTRUCTION COST RANGE IS $1,500,000 TO $1,700,000 The construction shall consist of the build-out of approximately 10,700 square feet of office space within a multi-story postal facility. The current space is vacant with little demolition required. The improvement shall include new partition walls, doors with sidelites, carpeting, ceilings and lighting. New systems shall include a new mechanical distribution system from the building's existing central plant system, new electrical power shall be provided from the buildings existing electrical service and a completely new data network system. the existing fire sprinkler system shall be reconfigured to coordinate with the new floor plan layout and a new fire alarm system and devices shall be provided that will interface with the buildings existing fire alarm system. The proposal must contain the offeror?s overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. The Postal Service encourages the participation of small, minority and women owned business subcontractors for this project. The Postal Service will select the offeror that provides the best value, taking into consideration technical and cost-ralated factors. There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract.
