Description

This solicitation was previously issued as DLQ070017. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), number DLQ070018. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14. This solicitation is set-aside for small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 325320. The small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, other than on a construction or service contract, but which proposes to furnish a product which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees. The line item numbers are: Line Item 0001, Glyphosate, Quantity: 2,300 gallons of Glyphosate Chemical. The delivery address is: BLM, Boise District Warehouse, 1962 Commerce Avenue, Boise, Idaho 83705. Delivery is required approximately March 21, 2007. Facilities are not available to accept delivery before treatment application date. BLM will coordinate with Contractor on delivery date. Must be delivered in 2.5 gallon containers or in 30 or 50 gallon drums, depending on industry standard for this product. Product must be able to be used in rangeland aerial applications with a minimum rate of 2 gallons per acre delivery requirement. Glyphosate: A non-selective translocated herbicide with no apparent soil activity. Gives broad spectrum control of many annual weeds. The following list are formulations of glyphosate that are the only BLM approved brands with a rangeland label that meet the desired uses in the Boise District BLM. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, is applicable, and the following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable: 52.204-07, 52.211-05, 52.219-06, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.223-03 Alt. 1, 52.223-06, 52.232-33, 52.232-36, 52.246-02.
