- The US Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking potential sources for the manufacturing of propellant bags for the XM350 Propelling Charge in accordance with the attached draft drawings: Donut_bag_design_final.pdf and Ring_bags- 3.pdf. This is a new developmental propelling charge for the 105mm Howitzer. The potential quantities of propellant bags needed for this effort are as follows: 2,000 units with an option for 20,000 units of propellant bags in accordance with the attached pdf file: Donut_bag_design_final.pdf; and 1,000 units for the propellant bags in accordance with the attached pdf file:Ring_bags-3.pdf. The required cloth to be used in the manufacture of these propellant bags is Class 2 Acrylic in accordance with the attached MIL-C- 12800. Respondents must demonstrate that they have the capability to provide for all necessary labor, materials, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to produce these types of bags. In addition, respondents must demonstrate their experience using Class 2 Acrylic Cloth and can meet an accelerated delivery schedule.
