- Description
- The requirement exists to conduct a study, provide recommendations, and define a pilot training program to reform Kimadia - the Iraq State Company for the Importation and Distribution of Drugs and Medical Appliances across Iraq. The study will focus on a comprehensive assessment of the Kimadia organization, procurement processes and procedures, supply chain management, quality management system, organizational structure and their human resource department. The end product will be refined analysis, recommendations, and a recommended pilot program based on the results of the contractors research. This contract will have a six-month period of performance and an option that if exercised by the USG, could extend beyond the six-month period of performance. The ultimate objective is a better trained workforce, improved methods of procurement, effective/efficient supply chain management, warehouse inventory control, in-transit visibility of medical goods, quality management, and improved ability to meet the needs of the health care delivery consumer.
