- Solicitation N00244-07-T-0265 is issued under full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 611692. The small business size standard is $6.5 million. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5 and 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The proposed contract action is for Commander Navy Installations, Public Safety Directorate, Safety Division, support for the Traffic Safety/Recreational & Off-Duty Safety Program (RODS). The contractor shall provide qualified instructors and other personnel to deliver professional training and training support, support for management and coordination of the region-wide program, including education, training, instructions and communications. Specialists/instructors shall be certified and knowledgeable in driver improvement, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC), motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle (ATV), off-road vehicle, and other motorized vehicle safety and experienced instructors. The requirement is for a firm fixed price requirements type contract with a period of performance from April 24, 2007 through April 23, 2008.
