Description
The Marine and Aviation Division, Code 5300, of the Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCCD), is procuring a Qualisys camera tracking system. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Innovision Systems. The Qualisys camera tracking system is required to measure and record in real-time 2D, 3D and 6-degrees of freedom (6-DOF) motion at 120 Hz (i.e., roll, pitch, yaw, heave, surge and sway) of a moving platform, with the accuracy of 0.01 degrees (angular displacement) and 0.2 mm (linear displacement) at a distance of 15 ft . The cameras will be located from the test subject at a distance of 3-ft to 18-ft to cover a volume of 18 ft x 18 ft x 2 ft (at 18 ft). The system can be upgraded to a maximum of 32 cameras to cover a larger volume. Active markers can be used for distance beyond 60 feet. The operating environment can be in the dark or bight sun light, and at 95% humidity. Additionally, it has to be able to acquire up to (32) analog inputs from other engineering sensors (e.g., force, carriage speed), output data in real-time to another computer via analog outputs or Ethernet link, and export data to TSV and Matlab format. The Qualisys camera tracking system was the only system meeting our requirements of tracking the model motions and other engineering data in real-time. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to the Government POC on or before 03/23/07.
