Description

The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to award, on a non-competitive basis, a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed Price/Time and Materials, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Qu antity (IDIQ) type contract to procure repair and manufacturing efforts for the AS-3997 Ultra-High Frequency/Very High Frequency (UHF/VHF) Antenna. This effort is Sole Source to Chelton, Inc 1955 Lakeway Drive Suite 200 Lewisville, TX 75057-1920, under th e authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The estimated minimum contract amount is $10,000 and the estimated contract ceiling is $900,000.00. These antennas are used to transmit and receive vo ice and data in the 225-400 megahertz range and are used with the AN/ASC-15B radio suite in the UH-60 helicopter. Under the proposed contract, those AS-3997s that cannot be repaired will be replaced with new AS-3997s.
