Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure professional services to design and conduct a project that will improve access to HIV/AIDS related information by patients, the affected community, their caregivers and the general public. The period of performance is anticipated to start on or about September 28, 2007 and expire on or about March 31, 2009. The solicitation (RFQ No. NLM-07-074/RHW) will be issued on April 2, 2007. The applicable NAICS code is 624190 and the small business size standard is $6,500,000. Requests for the RFQ package should be sent to: Office of Acquisitions, National Library of Medicine, 8600 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20894, ATTN: Robin Hope-Williams, Contracting Office. In addition, the RFQ may be downloaded, after the RFQ release date, from the National Library of Medicine Website at: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/oam/oam.html. Requests for the RFQ will not be accepted via telephone, fax or e-mail. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. All responsible and responsive sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the National Library of Medicine. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract.
