- Solicitation RFP 2007-N-09216 was issued 02/28/07 and the due date is revised to 03/30/07 for responses as a result - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Pittsburgh Research Laboratory has a requirement to design, adapt, construct, install and evaluate a location tracking system for use in underground coal mines. The goal of this project is to arrive at an economically feasible location tracking system which can continually track miners and equipment within 50 feet accuracy or less. Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2007-N-09216 will be issued on an unrestricted basis to full and open competition. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 12, 2007, and proposals will be due on or about March 13, 2007. Organizations interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation may submit a written request to DHHS/PHS/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NIOSH-Pittsburgh, Acquisition and Assistance Field Branch V, Post Office Box 18070, 626 Cochrans Mill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236-0070.
