- Sources Sought Notice for Technical Support for the Office of Federal Activities (OFA) Contract Posted Date: February 27, 2006 Procurement Office: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Procurement Contract Service Center (3803R), 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW Washington, DC 20460 Response Date: March 12, 2007 2:00 PM EST The United States Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA's) Office of Acquisition Management, on behalf of the Office of Federal Activities (OFA), is conducting market research to determine the interest and feasibility of a small business set-aside for technical support services. This is not a request for proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice or reimburse the costs incurred by potential contractors in providing the information requested. The EPA?s OFA requires technical support in the areas of the ? 309 Review Program, NEPA Compliance Program, International Compliance Assurance and Environmental Impact Assessment Programs, and Hazardous Waste Import-Export Program. More detailed information can be found in the draft Statement of Work posted on the following web site: http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/adm_placement/0710949/index.htm. The North American Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541620 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The Government intends to award an ID/IQ contract with a base period of two years with a three-year option period. The EPA desires responses to this sources sought notice from all types of small businesses including small disadvantaged businesses, 8(a) businesses, woman owned small businesses, HUBZone businesses, service disabled veteran owned small businesses, and other socioeconomic groups addressed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Interested firms shall demonstrate their capabilities by completing the form entitled ?Capability Questionnaire? located on the following web site: http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/adm_placement/0710949/index.htm. Submissions shall be limited to no more than ten (10) pages. Standard brochures will not be considered as a sufficient response to this notice.
