Description
The purpose of this modification to correct the name of the items being procured to read: Intels Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet PCI-X Card for both CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002. The following are the requirements that the Intel Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet PCI-X Card must have: Driver (software module written specifically) for the G5 Macintosh Workstation (GVS9000) ? PowerPC based processor (NOT Intel based). Driver for MAC Operating System greater 10.2.7. Jumbo Frames supported up to 16 KB. TCP checksum offload in RX and TX which Provides efficiency for host processing. Supports 64- or 32-bit PCI-X 1.0 or PCI 2.2 buses. Intel 82545 Gigabit Controller which Provides high performance, reliability, and low power. Interrupt Moderation which Delivers increased performance while significantly reducing CPU utilization. IEEE 802.3ab Compatibility which means Support of Gigabit Ethernet industry-wide networking standard. 1 Gbps Data Rate. 64 KB Onboard Memory. Intels Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet PCI-X Card is the only interface that meets our program requirements and will be accepted. No substitutions will be allowed. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-07-Q-1656. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: CLIN 0001 45 each of Intels Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet FCI-X Card. CLIN 0002 25 each of Intels Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet FCI-X Card. CLIN 0003 Shipping Charges for CLINS 0001 and 0002. The Intel?s Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet FCI-X Card being procured is for the G5 PowerMac. Intel?s Single Port Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet is the only interface module that meets our program requirements and will be accepted. No substitutes will be allowed. Required delivery is 14 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. Size standard is $18M.
