Description
WANTED TO LEASE Seeking expressions of interest Office Space TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT The United States Government desires to lease, seeking expressions of interest, for approximately 24,415 rentable square feet of Office space within the following boundaries: North: Randolph Street South: Adams Street East: Canal Street West: East of I-90/94 City of Chicago, Illinois We are seeking Office space. The office space must be first-class office space in an existing or newly constructed office building. The space must yield a minimum of 22,100 and a maximum of 23,205 occupiable square feet for the agency?s personnel and equipment. The space must be fully serviced and altered to meet the Federal Government's standards for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The space must be contiguous, on one floor. Occupancy is desired by the Second quarter 2007 for a lease term of Ten years, five years firm. The General Services Administration is not using tenant brokers to represent the Government in lease negotiations or transactions at this time. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. The Government is interested in considering alternate space if economically advantageous to the Government. In determining whether relocation would be economically advantageous to the Government, GSA will consider cost factors that include, but are not limited to, the total cost of the physical move including telecommunication equipment, LAN systems, office furniture (conventional and system furniture workstations) and telephone systems.
