Description
CONTACT Nick Petouses, Production Engineer, (732) 532-7122. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for remanufactured Stators used on the 30KW/60HZ MIL-STD Generator Set. This contractual effort is for a one time buy for a quantity of 7 with a 100% option. Request that suppliers provide the Govt with their Production Lead time and a cost estimate for this item. The NSN is 6115-00-370-2823, Govt Part number 72-2492, Cage Code 30554. Detailed technical data for the re-manufacture or accep tance of these units is available from the Army. The Army does not have cores for this stator and therefore each perspective bidder must supply his own cores which are required for the remanufacture of this stator. Suppliers capable of furnishing, re-manuf acturing and/or repairing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the sup plier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include number of years part will be ava ilable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required par ts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant t hat the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For more information contact Nick Petouses, (732)532-7122. The deadline for response is Feb. 28, 2007. EMAIL ADDRESS: nicholas.petouses@mail1.monmouth.army.mil
