- On December 22, 2006 and amended on January 19, 2007, the FAA published an announcement inviting potential vendors to the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK. The announcement required vendors to submit the names of the individuals attending and the point of contact for their organizations. This announcement is addressed for those vendors that submitted their potential attendees in response to the previous announcements. No further attendees will be accepted for this site visit. All international attendees are required to contact Joe Carey at joe.carey@faa.gov or (202) 267-5814 to ensure all required documentation is submitted. Visit Opportunity March 3, 2007 Agenda Time Event Location 8:00 AM Vendors arrive for security screening Building 1 9:00 AM Vendors check in, receive name tags Headquarters Auditorium 9:30 AM Introduction Headquarters Auditorium 10:00 AM 1st Tour leaves Headquarters Auditorium 10:10 AM 2nd Tour leaves Headquarters Auditorium 10:20 AM 3rd Tour leaves Headquarters Auditorium 10:30 AM 4th Tour leaves Headquarters Auditorium 10:40 AM 5th Tour leaves Headquarters Auditorium 12:00 PM Vendor Q & A Headquarters Auditorium 1:00 PM Event ends Check-In Procedures The visit will be held at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) and will begin at 9:00 AM in the Headquarters Auditorium. All visitors must be processed through Security for access to the MMAC. Visitors are encouraged to arrive at 8:00 AM to allow ample time for security screening. The physical address of the MMAC is: 6500 South MacArthur Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73169 On March 3, the North Gate on MacArthur Boulevard will be the only gate open to the MMAC. One lane will be open and visitors will be stopped by the Security Guard at the North Gate and directed to the main security office in the Headquarters Building (Building #1) for processing. All visitors must present the reason for visit (ATCOTS Academy Visit Opportunity), along with government-issued photo identification. The visit will involve walking from building to building, so please dress appropriately for your comfort. If any visitors have special needs, please advise the above points of contact in advance so arrangements can be made for transportation.
