- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a known requirement for a contractor to provide medical consultant services for the following specialties: Psychiatric, Psychology, Orthopedist, Internist, and General Medicine/Family Practice. It is anticipated that multiple awards will result from this RFQ. Services shall be performed ON-SITE at 300 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. The files to be reviewed CANNOT leave the premises. Medical consultant services shall consist of the contractor?s evaluation of medical records to conduct assessments of function and/or review of SSA disability case files only; there shall be no contact with patients. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. SSA anticipates awarding a firm fixed price, indefinite-quantity contract with a period of performance consisting of a base year and four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 621111 and the size standard is $8.5M. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This requirement is being set aside 100% for small businesses. Proposals received from other than small business concerns will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. The RFQ will be available for downloading on or about January 9, 2007 from the Federal Procurement website at www.fedbizopps.gov with offers due 21 days later. HARD COPIES OF THE RFQ WILL NOT BE MAILED. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be honored. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-DEC-2006).
